A website and search engine has been developed by combining data from different older content management systems a WordPress website and excel lists, which keeps track of all activities in around de Appel to sustain the data for the future. In order to be more agile, the FileMakerPro (FMP) database is the leading tool in preserving the data of de Appel’s history: names, dates, titles. The FMP database has been made relational between the objects (physical and digital), de Appel events and de Appel allies (person, collectives and institutes). In the search engine on de Appel website the data from FMP can be searched and filtered.
