'The focus of my performance is a kitsch object - a Virgin Mary in a plastic bubble with artificial snow. During the performance, I manifest the object in and through myself. I stand with my back to the public and use a mask to suggest that I am looking at them. By turning around, I change all the time - from a prostitute to a virgin, from a woman to a man, from light to dark, from stationary to moving and from cold to warm.'
