David Bernstein presents objects that inhabit the library of de Appel arts centre and trigger stories that the artist himself and the librarian disclose to the visitors. The title, Se non è vero, è ben trovato translates to: Even if it’s not true, it’s well found. In Bernstein’s stories we find everything from personal memories, sudden revelations, humorous experiences and immediate associations.
