Performance Bermuda Timpani by Gorka Catediano and Lisa Rosenblatt
de Appel, Prins Hendrikkade 142, Amsterdam
In the context of the exhibition Unresolved by Gabriel Lester, the artist has curated an extensive performance programme in which several other artists will take over the exhibition spaces. On September 3rd, artists Gorke Catediano and Lisa Rosenblatt will perform a timpani-inspired reading titled Bermuda Timpani.
Bermuda Timpani
So you wake and the world has changed. No, it is you. You have. Washed ashore, from where, nobody knows. “Ca-hoo”. The beach in rhythm with the tides, castles crumble, old tales revive. “Please don’t say it, I put my hands up to cover my eyes. You’d rather go to heaven?”
This is Bermuda in a timpani-inspired reading.
