Oto Hudec – En plein air workshop
Meeting point de Appel, Prins Hendrikkade 142, Amsterdam

The En plein air painting workshop with Oto Hudec is an essential part of the work The Library (Nor Tortoise Shell nor Blades of Grass) which is presented in the exhibition Rien ne va plus? Faites vos jeux!.
Participants are invited to join the artists and paint a tree in attempt to slowly study the surrounding and let off steam. The exercise aligns to an old Taoist story, which gives the name to the work, and asserts the vanity of people’s aspiration to find the best way of living. Instead some questions should remain unanswered and certain moments are just to be appreciated. Consequently, created works will complete the collection of paintings at the Library.
