Description

Katarina Zdjelar (b. 1979). Voice, authority, and community are central lines of inquiry in the work of Katarina Zdjelar, whose practice encompasses video and sound pieces, publications, performances and platforms for exchange. Zdjelar was born in Belgrade, and now lives and works in Rotterdam. She completed a residency at the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam (2010–2011). Zdjelar has exhibited internationally, among many others she has shown her work at solo exhibitions at the 53rd Venice Biennial (2009); Centre d’Art Contemporain, Fribourg (2010); City Museum, Ljubljana (2011);Galerie Stadtpark, Krems,(2012);Artium Museum, Vitoria-Gasteiz (2013); Kunstverein Bielefeld (2014).
