Based on the thirteenth century Icelandic saga - Laxdaela saga, and chapter 33 in particular.
The multi-layered Volcano Saga starts with the artist’s narrative about her visit to Iceland and coherently goes to the events of the saga. The video recreates the meeting of Gudrun and Gest, as described in the saga. Gudrun tells Gest the four dreams she had, and he interprets them.
