Hwawon is an imprint of Mediabus. Hwawon focuses on the performative aspect of design practice in which design methodology crystalizes into the structure and materiality of an object.

The second publication of Gathering Flowers series, Porcelain Berry, unfolds seven stories on Kiljong Arcade. Kiljong Arcade works under several names and stores; Kiljong Park, a represent of Kiljong Arcade runs the arcade through wisdom and knowledge that each shop owners’ have learned over years of time. He collaboratively works with others to make objects, furnitures, and spaces. In relation with a wordless book with works and notes by Kiljong Arcade, Kiljong Arcade 2021, works as a tool for reading, intertwining and interpreting both publications in their contexts.
