E*Cinema: Cinematic Leftovers
Eye Filmmuseum, Amsterdam

In the context of Bourgeois Leftovers and in collaboration with the E*cinema Academy series at the EYE Film Institute of the Netherlands, de Appel Curatorial Programme presents a cinematic evening exploring, in the broadest sense, leftovers: archival material, found footage and outdated technologies, leftover perspectives, and the worst seat in the house.
Featuring three filmic experiments by artist Daragh Reeves; excerpts from film restorer and archivist Guy Edmonds' collection of abandoned (and found) home movies; and a presentation of film scraps and reasearch into the archive with Elif Rongen-Kaynakçi, Silent Film Specialist at the EYE Film Institute of the Netherlands. Discussion to follow.
Organised in collaboration with EYE Film Instituut
