The Sunday School
During the Sunday School a special guest, this time Libris award winning author David van Reybrouck, gives a close reading of one work in the exhibition. This presentation starts at 4 pm. Afterwards there will be the opportunity to have your own copy of 'Congo' personally signed by the author.
In Augustijnens exhibition 'Spectres' and his film essay, the artist presents a controversial view of Belgian colonial history, a historical era that recently attracted a great deal of attention in the Netherlands following the publication of 'Congo' by David van Reybrouck.
