Loteria Lumbung: Fundraiser in Plan B

Lumbung Practice is a collective of collectives studying together, learning with each other and hanging out at de Appel and Sandberg Instituut. This Mexican Loteria fundraiser, organised by Spin Collective, art cooperative Espacio Estamos Bien and Papaya Kuir at the art space Plan B, is for collecting money for Mili Herrera so that she can continue her studies in The Netherlands. Mili is working as an artist and activist with her collective Biquini Wax from Mexico City, who are currently part of the Curatorial Programme at de Appel.

This event on Saturday 15 March is part of a series of fundraiser events to cover various needs of the Lumbung Practice community, such as student tuition fees and building a common pot (a shared income of resources). Expect games of Loteria—a Mexican board game of chance, similar to bingo—MC’d by Kat(ayun/y), and performances by Denisse Vega de Santiago, Mili Herrera and Tara Jamali, topped off by lumbung cocktails and DJs.
