On Sunday 2 February, from 1 to 9pm, Cinetol and de Appel will host Tabaria Cafe and RAFI (Raising Awareness & Funding Initiative) for a fundraiser for Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Lebanon. Under the name of Tabarafi, Tabaria Café and Rafi initiative align themselves through showcasing Palestinian culture, music and food to raise funds for the Palestinian people and other oppressed communities. Tabaria will be serving Middle Eastern food at Cinetol and drinks at de Appel. Throughout the day, a diverse range of workshops will take place, including calligraphy, painting, and letter writing. de Appel hosts a market featuring local artists and businesses, and a creative corner for both adults and children.

About Tabaria Café
Tabaria Café is a Palestinian cultural pop-up—a temporary event or space that appears for a limited time, often in unexpected locations, before disappearing. The café is dedicated to helping Palestinians in exile reconnect with their roots and educating others about Palestinian heritage. Their mission is to create a space where we can all come together to honor Palestinian culture.

About RAFI
RAFI (Raising Awareness & Funds Initiative) is an Amsterdam founded initiative that aims to raise awareness and funds in support of and in solidarity with dire global political currents. They aim to respond to different (yet intersecting) forms of oppression regionally and globally through local collectivization and collaboration.

Tickets and the full program are available through Tabaria.org.
