βSchippers raffled a small, lacerated Cobra-style painting among the audience, played some jumbled music on a piano, intermittently drank champagne from a plastic beaker, sang a hymn and two sentimental songs, and photographed the public with an instant camera (with a view to the subsidy). The performance opened an exhibition, which, besides showing the painting (a kind of homage to the man who recently vandalized La Berceuse by Van Gogh), included a small table of French cheeses and some empty paper rolls for coins.β (J.H., 'Melige performance van Wim T.', NRC Handelsblad, 10-04-1978.)
