Elaine Hartnett "Out of necessity, Up against the wall & Hooting"

Three performances in which Hartnett investigates ‘the helpless aspect of her behaviour, the extent to which her actions are driven by necessity’. During Out of necessity she aimed to ‘build up movement-energy within a given space’. Up against the wall formed a ‘monologue’. Hooting was an audio performance. (Invitation De Appel, June/July 1978.)
