Lobby Local is a foundation that believes that everyone should be able to influence their environment and lobby at the local level. Politicians and administrators can only make good decisions if everyone can represent their interests. Lobby Lokaal is therefore committed to making lobbying accessible to local initiatives with little (social) capital, that work for sustainability, culture, youth, health and social cohesion at the municipal level. We do this with training, support, advice and information sharing. Lobby Lokaal was founded by Myrthe Kusse, Tino Wallaart and Mara van Waveren. Mara van Waveren is currently the director of Lobby Lokaal, and also published the book Lobbyen kun je leren (You can learn to lobby).
