Lin An Phoa

Description

Lin An Phoa is a writer and linguist. She writes poetry and performs as a spoken word artist. In her physical and critical writing, she explores the expectations and patterns of the systems we live in, in an effort to connect, soften and change. Where language can sometimes be rigid and head-on, Lin An seeks ways to speak from body to body. Lin An works as an artist, programmer, teacher and presenter with various venues such as Poetry International, Crossing Border, Dutch Film Festival, Dansateliers and Kunstbende. She is also an educational programmer at spoken word platform Poetry Circle and is in the talent development program of literary organization Wintertuin.
