Justin Gosker (1980)

Description

Justin Gosker (b. 1980 Toronto, Canada). His works include several mediums such as drawing, sculpture, photography and performance. He also finds painting as a meditation exercise, and is interested in the relation between language and forms. He obtained his BFA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and he is currently an artist in residence at the Rijksakademie van beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam. He was a guest advisor in the European Exchange Academy, Beelitz-Heilstatten, Germany (2013) and a Guest Teacher in the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam (2012). Among exhibitions he has participated in are; Op karakter / Op talent, deSERVICEGARAGE, Amsterdam (2014), Mysterie's Accident, Wasteland Squad, W139, Amsterdam (2012), Hold That Thought, Kunstenaarsinitiatief dekok | elders, Den Haag (2011).
