Ergin Cavusoglu (1968)

1968, Bulgaria, lives/works in London.
Cavusoglu makes poetic and impressive video works where the notion of space is made explicit through the intensification of our experience. His ingenious way of using light and dark examines the relation to the space we inhabit or enter. A show of recent work took place at his London gallery Haunch of Venison (2004). Last year Cavusoglu took part in the 3rd Berlin Biennial and the 8th International Biennial in Istanbul.
