Arton review – AROUND THE FILM FORM

Description

Arton Review is a cycle of screenings by the Arton Foundation in collaboration with the National Museum in Warsaw. The contents of the Repository of the Arton Foundation have served as the basis to create a series of films inspired by the work of the classic artists of the Polish avant-garde. We have invited artists present on the contemporary Polish art scene to collaborate in making the films. The artists invited to work on the films have been selected after analysing their working methods and the aspects of their practice that bring them closer to the works of the artists who used the medium of film several decades ago. Thus, we are building a space for original, intergenerational dialogues to be established, which is also one of the goals of the Arton Foundation.
